Write Your Own Child’s Report Card
What if we, our children’s parents or other family member or family friend, wrote our own report card for our child or the child we know? For, it is each of us that knows this child best. We could do it at the end of each school year or even each semester, for that matter!
And what might this report card include?

As I venture through the first days of summer, I notice the numerous social events that seem to take place once the warmer weather arrives. Along with the social events, come all the delicious treats. For some children, summer represents a “free for all” where they can indulge in unhealthy food whenever and however they wish. Often these children have parents that were raised strictly, who do not want to put their own children through the same “torture.” I can understand their way of thinking but when it comes to food, it is simply too important to one’s overall well being to let children make all the decisions.

If your son or daughter has high self-esteem, he or she knows his or her value. Your son’s feelings of self-worth form the core of his personality and determine how he lives all parts of his life. “In fact, self-esteem is the mainspring that slates every child for success or failure as a human being.” Your Child’s Self-Esteem by Dorothy Corkille Briggs.
Self-esteem comes from the quality of the relationships that exist between a child and those who play a significant role in his life. It is up to you to show your child that he matters just because he exists.

I invite you to learn to let go and know that there might be aspects of your child’s wellbeing in which you have no control. To be able to do this, you might need to come to love and accept yourself enough to know that none of us are perfect and we can only do so much. Because if more of us would come to love and accept ourselves, we wouldn’t be so hard on ourselves and we would all be so much happier. We need to focus on the aspects of raising our children that we are capable of controlling and that is all. And if anyone deigns to judge the job you are doing in raising your child, I want you to remember that they have not walked in your shoes.
Read MoreWhy Are North American Peanuts So Lethal?
Parents often ask me why peanuts are as lethal as they are. In North America, peanuts are specifically planted in soil where crops are heavily sprayed, in order to clean up the soil. It’s not the peanuts that are as much of a problem as the toxins that the peanuts absorb! Peanuts (which are legumes, by the way, not nuts) and some tree nuts contain aflatoxins, a fungus, which comes about from the spraying of pesticides and fungicides. The spraying prevents the peanut plant from building its own protection against mold and fungus. These alfatoxins produce poisons and must be deactivated by good bacteria in the intestine

It is my most fervent wish that you embark on the journey of feeding your child healthier, dare to be different and then look at me with that zest for life. I’ll see the twinkle in your eye and know what you’ve been doing. I’ll ask that you save the actual lives of other children by spreading the word, or simply setting an example of health. One day you might be asked, “Your son seems so much happier; what did you do differently?” You might say, “I just learned how to feed him to help him reach his full potential.” If you can answer in that way, it is obvious that you are doing the very best you possibly can for your child.
Read MoreParasites – A New Understanding
My children have had parasites get out of control a couple of times, usually following our fun vacations in Mexico. Each time, I have treated their parasites naturally and brought their systems back into balance. Recently, I was diagnosed with parasites that I determined had been plaguing me since 2006! These parasites had caused me to gain weight, experience fatigue and react to food like never before. Just last week, I got the parasites under control. I am so excited by how fantastic I feel that I decided to write about these nasty little organisms that can take over anyone’s body.
